We are coming up on 100 days that we have been in school. This is a fun time! We have all kinds of “100’s” activities planned. We also have our Valentine’s celebration the following week. I will be sending out Bloomz request for things for our upcoming celebrations.

On Hundreds Day, Tuesday Feb. 7th, the kids can dress up like they are 100 years old! The whole school is going to participate and everyone will be completing a writing prompt, “When I am 100 years old…”.

The kids will also be able to bring a collection of 100 things to school. They will try to find 100 of something that would fit into a plastic water bottle. We will send home the bottles and labels for their bottles with instructions tomorrow. (See picture below)

Hopefully everyone is staying well and avoiding “the bug” going around! It is nice to be back on a regular schedule!

The school will be having informational meetings every other Saturday at our new building for next year. Please check your dragon mail (and school Facebook page) for specifics. I am super excited for this change, it is going to be fantastic! (Not to mention, finally great parking, YAY!) We will be holding our February Paragon Night at the new building as well.

The 100th day of school is coming up. We will celebrate it on Tuesday, February 7th! We will be having lots of fun using 100 all day long! We will be sending home a project for your child to work on to help us celebrate!

Welcome back from a wonderful 2 week break! I hope everyone had time to relax and enjoy time with your families.

Please remember to send jackets & appropriate winter gear as needed over the next little while. We will continue to go out for recess as weather permits.

This Friday, for our paragon clothing unit, we will be having “Dress & Tell”. The kids can wear their favorite outfit to school and they will get to tell all about what they are wearing and why it is their favorite outfit.

Please also note the calendar for the next couple of weeks. There are a couple of no school days coming up.
