It's been wonderful getting to know all the kids and their fun
personalities! Last week we got a chance to visit all the specials classes, get to know
the school building, and figure out the daily schedule. Thanks to
everyone for your patience as we get all the kinks worked out.
This week we start working on more academic things and begin some
of our curriculum. We will also have a respect assembly on Thursday morning at
8:30 am. During the Respect Assemblies, we recognize students (one from each
classroom) that have demonstrated attributes of the monthly character trait.
The trait for August is respect. Kids can wear jeans on Respect Assembly days!!!
There are a couple of things that I just wanted to remind everyone
about…
1. Please remember to send two snacks and a water bottle everyday.
Our classroom is nut free. Please send snacks that do not contain nuts. Also,
please do not send cupcakes, cookies, or candy for snacks.
2. TPAAK has a student dress code. You can find the guidelines on
the school website at www.tpaak.org .
The school uses the Bloomz App as a whole school and classroom communication tool. We use this app for announcements, reminders, volunteer opportunities, and parent sign ups.
