September 25th - 29th

Paragon night was Wonderful! It is always short but sweet. I loved seeing the excitement and encouragement that students have for each other. What sweet smiles they had on their faces!

We have scheduled our first field trip for Friday, October 13th, from 9-11:30 am. We need parent drivers! I will send home driver forms tomorrow and put out a request on Bloomz. If you are able to drive, please sign up. (You will also need to complete a background check... visit the front office to complete this.)

I sent home information about your child's reading a-z and abcmouse accounts in Friday Folders. We use both of these in our classroom on a weekly basis. They are great resources to help support your child. Please let me know if you have any questions or have trouble logging on.

The weather can be unpredictable… please remind your child to bring a jacket or sweatshirt as recess may be chilly!

We also have many kids coming to school without snacks and water bottles each day. Please remind your child to pack them each morning.

September 18th - 22nd

Paragon Night is this Thursday, September 21st, starting at 5pm. Kids are welcome to wear whatever they want – they have created their own costumes that they will wear when they get to the classroom.

5:00-5:15 - Students (K-2) arrive and go to cafeteria

5:15 – 5:30 – 2nd grade stage performance

5:35 – 5:45 – 1st grade classroom presentation (kinder moves to classroom)

5:50-6:00 – Kinder presentation

Picture retakes are coming up on Thursday, October 12th, at 8:30am. If you were not able to have your child's picture made on Back-to-School night, they will get their picture made on this day. 

We are also working on scheduling a field trip mid October. We will let you know the date as soon as we get verification. If you are wanting to drive & help chaperone please stop by the front office to complete a driver form and background check.

September 11th - 15th

Thank you for attending orientation! If you have any questions, please let me know. I would be happy to meet with you at any time. As I mentioned, Paragon Night times have changed. The schedule will be as follows:

5:00-5:15 - Students (K-2) arrive and go to cafeteria

We will start doing some assessments this week. We are just starting to introduce the concept of assessment and learn about working on the computer. Please let me know if you have any questions about this.

September 4th - 8th

This Thursday is Parent Orientation Night. There are two sessions available to choose from: 5:00-5:30 or 6:00-6:30. There is also an opportunity to meet with and hear from the Directors from 5:30-6:00. This is a great event to get information about classroom procedures as well as school wide information. This will be a beneficial meeting for both new and returning families!
