Thank
you so much to all the parents who helped make our field trip to the museum
successful! We could not have done it with out you!
This week is a big week!
Many things have fallen into
the
same
week.
We
have
100’s
day,
valentines day,
and conferences all this week! Since
we
have
lots
of
fun
things I thought it would be
fun to also throw in FREE DRESS WEEK for our class! YAY! (Feel free to dress festively for our valentine party!)
We will celebrate 100's day on Tuesday with counting to 100, doing 100 exercises, making a snack mix with 100 pieces, and deciding what we will be doing when we are 100 years old!
We will celebrate Valentine's day on Thursday with a yogurt parfait breakfast bar! We will also design our valentine bag and pass out valentines to all our kindergarten friends.
We will also be making heart shaped crystals this week in science. This is a super fun activity for the kiddos. You will be seeing these come home on Thursday! Your child will love to tell you all about it.
This
week is all about friendships. We will be reading and discussing Roses
Are
Pink, Your Feet Really Stink by Diane DeGroat . We will talk about finding solutions to problems. We will work on writing
valentines this week.
