There
are lots of great things happening over the next couple of weeks! It will be a
busy and fun time! We have several different sign ups out right now…. Please
make sure to check them out! We have parent/teacher conferences, showcase
night, field trip, 100’s day and our valentine party!

Our focus this week is all about being wise and brave. There are times when we
might be afraid of something but then realize that if we are wise, we can
overcome that fear. Our book this week is The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. This
story tells the tale of a wise mouse that should be afraid of predators in the
woods, but he uses his wisdom and cleverness to trick them. The mouse is
surprised when his cleverness almost backfires! Throughout the week we will be
discussing ways in which we can be wise and brave!
The Gruffalo has been made into a short film that can be found on Amazon Prime.
